Day 1 – Arrival Trabocchi Coast
Arrival and hotel accommodation on the trabocchi coast or surroundings. Free time. Dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2 – Ortona – Guardiagrele
Walk down the streets of Ortona which houses in the St. Thomas Cathedral the relic of the Apostle Thomas, to see the passeggiata Orientale (promenade overlooking the splendid sea), the Aragonese Castle, and stop for tasting the typical ortonese sweet , the “Nevola”. In the afternoon, visit and wine tasting in a winehouse. Continuation of the tour towards Guardiagrele. Tasting of the local dessert “le Sise delle Monache”(made up of two layers of soft sponge cake filled with custard), visit of the charming centre of the town which is situated at the foot of Mount Maiella. Supper at the Michelin starred restaurant Villa Maiella. Return to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 3 – Lanciano – Vasto – San Salvo
Visit of Lanciano old town, with its great value monuments. Tasting of the local sweet “il Bocconotto”. Brunch with typical products. Continuation of the tour to Vasto with panoramic stops along the route and interesting walk down the wonderful Abruzzi town. Departure to San Salvo. Dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant “Al Metrò”. Return to the hotel and overnight accommodation.
Day 4 – Città Sant’Angelo – Civitella Casanova
Departure for Città Sant’Angelo and walk about the borough. Fast wine tasting in a wine bar. Arrival at Civitella Casanova and lunch at the Michelin starred restaurant “ La Bandiera“. After that, visit to the museum of the oil in Loreto Aprutino. Return to the hotel. You can choose to have dinner on a Trabocco (your request has to be made on booking and its meeting depends on the availability of seats).
Day 5 – End of services
